About Servant Heart

Servant Heart is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the world though global medical missions. Our mission is to provide quality healthcare to those in need. Our efforts include creating positive health solutions through short-term medical missions, long-term partnership and ongoing health training projects.

What We Do

Medical Missions

We travel to Tanzania, Africa, with groups of medical professionals and passionate individuals of all backgrounds on a regular basis and set up temporary healthcare clinics.

Long-term Partnerships

We have established long-term partnerships with local healthcare professionals and others in order to provide continuous healthcare support to the communities that we impact during our medical missions.

Case Management

When a patient is in need of more extensive, long-term, or acute care we work with our established partners to get them the care they need, when they need it.

Support

We invest in those communities that we serve, and we believe in constant supporting them despite the oceans that separate us -- not only as healthcare providers, but also as true friends. The bonds that connect us are strong and steady, and we believe in being there for each other through sickness and in health.

Health Education

Throughout the planning and implementation of our medical missions we focus on the importance of health education as the key to bringing about sustainable change in the health of our patients. We know that teaching our patients how to care for themselves and for their families  makes a difference in their health, and it empowers them to take their health into their own hands. After all, knowledge is power!

Teri Priebe

Teri Priebe has worked in the travel industry for over 30 years and has traveled extensively. Teri most frequently travels to Tanzania, and during her time there she has come to realize the desperate need for medical and dental care there.
